Evacusafe are the only manufacturer to have their training courses externally approved by both RoSPA and IIRSM – not ‘internally accredited’. In addition to training courses for Evacusafe’s tracked evacuation chairs, transit chairs or Evacuslider rescue mattresses, they are also able to train you on most other brands. With Evacusafe you can train on-site, where a qualified trainer visits you, or you can train online at a computer at your place of work.
The onsite courses can be tailored for most types of Evacuation Chairs, Transport Chairs and Rescue-sleds (not only the Evacusafe brand).
Evacusafe will provide you and your staff with the practical, hands-on experience, and the knowledge required to give you the peace of mind of knowing how to safely operate the equipment and how to carry out a safe evacuation of mobility-impaired people.
In addition to Basic Operator training courses, they also provide Key Trainer Courses; these are also commonly known as ‘Train the Trainer’ courses and enable you to provide your future staff training courses.
This course will take you through the setting up and safe operation of the Excel Tracked Evacuation Chair. You will also learn about the current legislation and issues that affect a mobility-impaired person. Upon completion, you will be issued with a Basic Operators Certificate. The price includes training for up to 8 people.
This course involves a short theory session followed by a practical demonstration in which delegates participate and gain practical hands-on experience in using an Evacuation Chair, Transit Chair or Rescue-sled. Delegate numbers are restricted to make sure everyone has adequate time to practising and build confidence in using the equipment.
This course will provide you with the knowledge and experience that enables you to provide the Basic Operator Training to other members of staff within your organisation. Upon completion you will be issued with a Key Trainer Certificate. Price includes training for up to 4 people.
This course involves a classroom session which covers current legislation, who may require help and when and where such equipment may be required and is designed to provide your staff with the skills, enabling them to cascade the Basic Operator Training to other members of staff within your organisation.
This type of course is often referred to as ‘Train the Trainer Training’ and not only will this enable you to standardise an in-house training programme, but you will also save money by providing your own courses in the future.

Fire Protection Shop specialise in the supply of high-quality fire extinguishers. There are many different classifications of fire and so our products include a variety of different extinguisher types. For example, we offer water or foam fire extinguishers for solid combustibles and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers for flammable liquid or electrical fires. Each extinguishing agent comes with its benefits. Typically, water extinguishers are cheaper, produce a cooling effect and prevent reignition once the fire has been extinguished. Carbon dioxide extinguishers are clean agents, they leave no residue, are suitable for electrical fires and are often used on liquid fires which include petrol, oil or other solvents.
In addition to our extinguishers, we offer a range of fire safety products to both domestic and commercial premises. This includes the supply of fire blankets, extinguisher stands, smoke alarms, first aid kits and much more. Our entire range is sourced from reputable brand manufacturers at competitive prices. Also, all of our products carry a full warranty and guarantee and are supplied with relevant fixings where applicable.
So, for fire extinguishers, alarms and all your other fire safety needs, trust Fire Protection Shop to give you the quality, expertise and service you require.
