Class D fires involving combustible metals require specialist fire-fighting equipment due to the intense temperatures involved and the risks associated with using an unsuitable extinguishing medium.

The Titan 9kg D Class Powder Fire Extinguisher is specifically designed for combustible metal fire risks, including magnesium, sodium, lithium, calcium and zinc when in the form of swarf or powder. This makes it suitable for specialist environments where combustible metals are handled, processed or stored.

Equipped with a low-velocity applicator, the extinguisher allows the specialist powder to be applied efficiently to the burning metal while helping to prevent burning swarf from spreading.

The extinguisher features a corrosion-resistant finish, protective plastic base and easy-to-read removable pressure gauge. It is supplied with a bracket and comes with a 5-year warranty.
