PDI Inspection

A PDI inspection on a fire extinguisher stands for Pre-Delivery Inspection. It’s the safety and quality check performed before an extinguisher is handed over to the customer.

Commissioning

Commissioning is the process of making a new fire extinguisher ready for service. In the UK, commissioning is required by BS 5306-3 and must be carried out onsite by a competent fire extinguisher technician.

Checking the extinguisher for damage or defects
